The library is hosting a Teen Summer Reading Program focused on journaling activities. Teens can develop their writing skills, connect with others who share their interests, and explore their own thoughts and feelings through a variety of fun and thought-provoking prompts. The program offers opportunities for creative expression and feedback from knowledgeable staff. Ages 13-18 This program is FREE and open to the public. A library card is not required.

After some 58 years of service at the Accomac location, the Eastern Shore Public Library‘s collection and staff will be moving to the Eastern Shore of Virginia Regional Library and Heritage Center on Bennett Street in Parksley. The Front Street building in Accomac will be closed to the public beginning August 7th. Due dates for borrowed materials will be extended to accommodate the planned reopening in Parksley on August 26th. ... Read More
