The Eastern Shore Public Library is now a Funding Information Network (FIN) partner of Foundation Center. Foundation Center is a nonprofit organization that strengthens the social sector by advancing knowledge about philanthropy in the U.S. and around the world.
As a FIN partner, the Accomac library now has access to three, premier grant seeking databases including Foundation Directory Online, Grants to Individuals Online, and Foundation Maps. They invite nonprofit and social sector professionals to use these online resources for free to find the funding that they need to succeed! In addition, the library will also start offering free workshops to the local community.
Foundation Center’s core collection of resources includes Foundation Directory Online, profiling more than 140,000 U.S. grantmakers, Foundation Grants to Individuals Online, Foundation Maps, print directories, and proposal writing guides.
