Eastern Shore Public Library Moves to Parksley

After some 58 years of service at the Accomac location, the Eastern Shore Public Library‘s collection and staff will be moving to the Eastern Shore of Virginia Regional Library and Heritage Center on Bennett Street in Parksley. The Front Street building in Accomac will be closed to the public beginning August 7th. Due dates for borrowed materials will be extended to accommodate the planned reopening in Parksley on August 26th.

During the closure, system libraries in Chincoteague, Nassawadox, and Cape Charles will remain open. The digital library available from www.espl.org never closes.

A ribbon cutting event and Grand Opening celebration is planned for the Eastern Shore of Virginia Regional Library and Heritage Center on September 8th beginning at 3:00p.m.
