Eastern Shore Public Library

Library Card Signup Month

Dates: September 1st – September 30th

This September Eastern Shore Public Library is joining the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries nationwide for Library Card Sign-Up Month, a time to remind everyone that a library card is an important step towards life-long learning and academic achievement.

During this month, Eastern Shore Public Library will be participating in the national effort to ensure every child signs up for their own library card. As part of these efforts, a drawing will be held for any child who receives or has a library card. To enter, visit espl.beanstack.org and join the challenge by clicking ‘Library Card Sign-up Month Drawing’.

Additionally, a library card craft will be offered at both Northampton Free Library and Eastern Shore Public Library featuring all you need to make a library card lanyard.

For more information about library cards, please visit your local public library or call ESPL at 757-787-3400

This program is free and open to the public. Library card NOT required.
