2022 Summer Reading Program: Oceans of Possibilities

Dates: June 21st, 2022 to August 12th, 2022

Oceans of Possibilities: Summer Reading Program

This year Eastern Shore Public Library is exploring Oceans of Possibilities all summer long with exciting programing including their reading challenge. Beanstack returns again this year as part of the challenge. Readers can register, record time spent reading, participate in challenges, and share book reviews. As they log their reading and activities, readers will earn digital badges redeemable for cool incentives. In addition to their online challenge, the library will be offering a paper option. Unlike past years, patrons will be able to come into the library to redeem their points and choose their prizes. The summer reading program will begin on June 21st and end on August 12th, 2022.

Throughout the summer, Eastern Shore Public Library and Northampton Free Library will be hosting storytimes every week featuring two books and an activity for ages 3 to 9 years old. They will also be providing programming for teens as well. Details will be available at a later date.

As part of their programming, the library will be providing Summer Reading Program starter bags on June 21st. These kits will have everything necessary to get started this summer. More details will follow as they get closer to each event.
